Motivation to lose weight is essential. If you are not motivated, then no weight loss system or program will work for you. 


We only have one body and we must take control of it. No one can do it for us, we must take back our power.
The sooner we realize this, the sooner we can do something about it. Most people seeking to lose weight have accumulated quantities of body fat that will support them for some time with only the need to continue to take in the fluids, fiber and vitamins necessary for vital bodily functions. Our internal combustion system must be activated to turn on the fat burners and along with gentle exercise very good results will come about in a short period of time.

Portions. Plate size is vital. If we are used to filling our plate, then we must put all the large plates in the basement or garage and eat only off bread and butter plates.  Plan meals ahead of time.

Oatmeal for breakfast at the start of every day. Only one cup of Oatmeal. Non fat milk and One teaspoon of honey to taste. Only one glass of Orange juice per day. Oatmeal will fill you up and give you fiber and get you through the morning. The longer periods you can get through without eating fats and sugars the more stored fat and sugar you will burn. 

Water. Water. Water. Water.  When we need to fill up our tank, drink plenty of water whether it be hot or cold. The less we add to our water, the less we add to our weight. Remember, if it doesn't go into our body, it doesn't go on to it either! If you need a break from water, have a green tea as a treat once a day.

Exercise. Exercise is also essential to help get the heart rate up and the body burner going. Start each day in bed doing pull in exercises where you pull in all your muscles from head to toe breathing in, hold and exhale and release. Pull in, hold and release. Pull in, hold and release. Breathing in and exhaling. Breathing in and exhaling. This will strengthen your back and tummy muscles and tighten your bottom muscles. Do this exercise counting to ever higher numbers when holding. Many people make the mistake of dieting without exercising and their skin looks 4 sizes bigger than they are. Don't let this happen, tone up each day the easy way.

Raw. Remember you can have Raw vegetables as snacks throughout the day if needed. Carrots are full of sugar so allow only one of these a day and if you are not losing any weight remove these from your diet too. Remove from your kitchen any candy, cake, chocolate, buttered popcorn, cookies, chips or sweet comfort foods.


Steam your food. No more frying pans to clean or roasting pans to scrub. All your dinners are to be steamed. Put a few small potatoes in a pot with water to cover and a small amount of salt, bring to the boil and in a steaming basket put in a serving of 2 different vegetables.  You may steam or grill one serving of meat. Add lemon juice to fish, but do not add butter, gravy or any sauce or mayonnaise. These are hidden fat traps.

Time. You are going to have far more time than you ever had before, so spend it wisely. You won't be taking as long to eat and you won't be taking as long to cook and clean the kitchen. Make it a daily responsibility to keep the kitchen spotless. The effort you put into keeping it clean will help you not to dirty it again. Find other homes for things that you won't need on your new diet so they don't remind you of food. For instance if you are a baker and love to make cakes. Put your cake and muffin pans away. Put your cookie containers away or fill them with things you don't like to eat, so you are repulsed when you take off the lid in a moment of weakness.

Empty your refrigerator of all food that is fattening, and replace this food with vegetables.  Salads without dressing will be your lunch from now on with a serving of rice or bread without butter, low fat margarine will do if you must have something on the bread, but remember, that any fats you put into your body will also go on to it as well.

Patience, Persistence and Purging. You may not see a change in the scales in the first few days or maybe even a week, but slowly and surely the fat will be burned and the size of your clothing will be reduced. It is a good time to go through your wardrobe and find things that will fit, and to remove the things that you don't want to ever fit again. By getting rid of big clothing you will be more determined to stick with your new identity program.  Big clothes left hanging around will only tempt you to once again fit them. Get rid of any such temptations.

Stick to your regime of changing your identity. Stick to your diet. Stick to your exercise program building up daily to walking more and then running along the sea shore. You didn't become fat overnight, so don't expect to get slim overnight either, just stick to your program and the results will speak for themselves.

If we want to make changes to our body then we must also make changes in our lives.

Eating will never be the same again, because it won't be the most important thing anymore.  You will be.









Have you ever studied the life cycle of a butterfly? The egg is laid, the grub hatches and eats and eats and eats until it can eat no more. Then it works really hard. It spins and spins and spins yards and yards of silk and wraps itself up in it. This is the hardest part of it's whole existence, but the most worthwhile part. Because if no work is done, then it will only ever be a big fat grub and never be a butterfly. How sad that would be!
